Pool pumps can consume 3,000 to over 5,000 kWh per year. Typically these pumps may have 1- or 2-horsepower (hp) motors that run at least five to six hours per day, if not around the clock, consuming energy.
Weather your pump is performing tasks for suction-side pool cleaner, waterfalls or spa jets, most variable speed pumps can utilize programmed set speeds to deliver optimum speeds for each task.
